I was born in 1952 to parents that knew quite a bit about their families. My mother has been keeping the family histories of nine family names for almost 70 years. She just celebrated her 90th birthday and she is incredible! Because of her we know of ancestors back to the mid-16th century.
After the death of my husband, the month before I joined Find A Grave, I decided to track his family as far as possible. I'm pleased that I have been able to go back to the mid-18th century for some of his family.
I have even been able to document quite a bit of the information my mother has collected over the years.
I appreciate any and all updates or corrections. I especially appreciate those that have taken the time to post pictures.
