I wish that 2026 will open the eyes of Americans who take our 3 branches of governing for granted; that we can lose it so easily and that the most important thing is we continue to have our 3 branches (Executive, Legislature and Judicial) separate but equal with 'checks and balances' and our Democratic Republic continues for our children, our grandchildren and all future generations.

*****My beloved husband Manuel left to go to Heaven early this morning (June 02, 2015). I was with him in Hospice when he peacefully left. He is one of my 'sponsored' loved ones. I cherish the United States and our beloved soldiers who keep us safe. I cherish our Freedoms and our Democratic Government and await the day when we move forward into the future, without fear or without nostalgia about a past that never was. I also pray that ALL Americans, Immigrants and future Americans have a chance at obtaining the American Dream of a good and decent life.

I truly believe there is a Rainbow Bridge in Heaven, where we will meet and be with our beloved animal companions. I plan on greeting every single animal, big and small, who is there, because I love all animals...

***The first one I will greet will be my beloved cat Mr. King Akhenaten "Akhee" Swirls, because I did not have the chance to say Goodbye to him on earth...He sadly was killed on January 25, 2009 and I miss him so much.

I came across her gravesite a few years ago and I found it again a few days ago, and I was the only person to leave her any tributes in all that time. ***July 18, 2021--Mr. Ring Tail arrived at Rainbow Bridge in Heaven early yesterday! He was the first FERAL cat I fell in love with and he was OLD, at least 13 years old---a long time for any FERAL cat to live. During the deadly freeze we had here in Texas, he disappeared, then reappeared, disappeared again, then came back at the end of May. He had a stroke and the Vet said I could put him to sleep or let him keep living, as long as he ate and drank and moved around. I chose to take him home and care for him there. Friday, July 16th, Mr. Ring Tail didn't want to eat or drink, so I knew it was almost time. I held him with me on the big rocking chair and he passed away right after midnight in my arms. I will Miss him so much....

***Another feral cat, K Kat, crossed over to Rainbow Bridge a few days ago (Monday, May 02, 2022). Looks like a car hit his head, poor fella. He was a cutie, grey, black and white striped with beautiful eyes, about 6 years old. I'm sure CHUCK and Ring Tail will show him around. I'll miss him...

On October 09, 2022 my cat SKIPPER passed away so suddenly, it's taken me a few days to recover from the shock. He was an unusual cat-half bobcat-his tail was only about 1 inch in length. He was athletic and strong! I remember a few years ago I was in the kitchen at the stove, next to the refrigerator and I heard cat paw steps. Skipper JUMPED over 5 feet and landed on top of the fridge! I thank GOD I had him for 11 1/2 years! I will miss him so much but know I will see him again at Rainbow Bridge in Heaven. Until then, Saint Francis, please watch over him and introduce him to CHUCK, AKHEE and all the other fur angels with you and let my beloved Manuel know Skipper has arrived...

***My next door neighbor's dog, who I called 'Rinny' because he was a German Shepard who looked just like Rin Tin Tin, passed away yesterday afternoon, July 26, 2023. He was pretty old; 15 years, almost completely deaf and only had a few teeth left, but still it made me sad to know he went to Rainbow Bridge. Saint Francis will be watching over you and I will see you at the Bridge one day, sweet Rinny!

My beloved cat TROY passed away Saturday night (April 06, 2024) after a very short illness. I was holding him as he breathed his last breath. TROY was 10 years old; a beautiful black cat with bright yellow eyes. He loved to blink slowly at me and was intrigued when I started to 'slow blink' back at him. He was goofy, always purring and loved to snuggle up on my lap most nights as I watched TV. TROY, my guy, I will miss you so much but I KNOW I will see you again at Rainbow Bridge in Heaven. Love, Mom...

A beautiful feral cat named TUX passed away on January 20, 2025 after a brief illness. It was very icy and he just couldn't cope with the cold even after taking antibiotics. He was about 8 years old; a beautiful black and white cat with a white 'moustache' that upturned on his left side. I miss him dearly...

On May 12th, a black feral cat I took care of: 'Barney Fife' was hit by a car. My neighbor came over and told me. Barney was such a nervous cat who reminded me of Barney Fife on "The Andy Griffith Show". It took me almost 5 years to be even able to try and pet him because he was so skittish. I know I will see him at Rainbow Bridge in Heaven and I will miss him so much...

Some evil person in my neighborhood that HATES ALL ANIMALS called Animal Care Services on me in early May, because one of my feral cats, TUXETTE, had a wart on her nose for years which was non cancerous. She was 13 years old. I told the Animal Care officer that Tuxette had been checked and her wart was non cancerous, but was told that they wanted to check her wart and would return her in 2 weeks. I tried for 2 whole weeks, every day, to call Animal Care Services to find out when they would be returning Tuxette to my feral colony, but could never get through on the phone. I also emailed them many, many times but never received a response. I finally got through after 3 weeks of trying by phone and found out that Tuxette was fine but that she had been EUTHANIZED on May 21st! I was devastated and filed a complaint because she should have been brought back to the colony and I was lied to. I miss her so much. I took care of her over 13 years, since she was a baby stray kitten (spayed, rabies and other shots, and microchipped) and it still upsets me that this happened to her. I know I will see her at Rainbow Bridge one day but I still feel so bad that this was done to her and I was lied to....

My beloved oldest girl kitty, Missy, passed away 6 days ago (August 24th. I haven't been online but I wanted to make sure I added her passing. She was 14 years and 2 months old---a beautiful black cat with bright yellow eyes who came one day to my back door just a few weeks after we moved to our first house 13 years ago She was a shy girl but would come inside during the winters or when it rained and would quietly sleep in a corner of the living room or on my bed. She had a beautiful, deep purr that shook her whole body. I will dearly miss her; but I'm glad she had many years of being with us...

The last one of my original 6 beautiful black feral cats, Pretty Girl, was run over by a car 3 weeks ago (Friday, September 26th). A neighbor told me someone had told him after they saw her body in the road for over 2 weeks, a long way away from where I live. I had wondered where she had gone and was looking all over for her in the neighborhood. I was sad that somehow she was so far away (I think someone must have lured her into their car and drove away) and that I couldn't have been there to say 'goodbye' to her before she was removed by the city, but I know she arrived at Rainbow Bridge and I am looking forward to seeing her there, along with all the other animals. I hope one day another black cat AND an orange cat will show up at my doorstep because I LOVE CATS OF ALL COLORS!

Another cat has passed onto Rainbow Bridge. Her name was Kopyshowa, a feral cat, almost 10 years old, and she was white with a black on her head, ears and tail. She was DELIBERATELY hit by some driver on the lower main street, who jumped the curb and went on the sidewalk where she was sitting; on late Tuesday evening and passed away at the Vet's office early Wednesday, May 13th from serious injuries. I will miss her and I have asked St. Francis to take extra care of her since she was doing nothing wrong and was taken from us so tragically.
