Bio
My name is Damian, and I'm a taphophile from Chicago.
If you know me, none of this will surprise you—I've always been someone who feels deeply, sometimes more than I let on. Since I was a kid, I sensed energies around me, subtle whispers in the world that most people rush past. It took adulthood for me to finally stop fighting it and lean into what I now understand is a gift.
I've been a member of Find A Grave for over 24 years, quietly honoring the stories that live on long after the heartbeat stops. Only recently did I decide it was time to open up more fully. When you let the spirits guide you, the answers come in their own time—gentle, cryptic, and always honest.
My fascination with graves began early. Some people thought it was strange; I just knew it felt right. Truthfully, I've always feared the living far more than the dead. Death isn't an ending to me—it's simply another chapter, one most people aren't ready to read.
I've walked among stones and mausoleums across the world—Paris, Mexico, Honduras, Jamaica, Guatemala, and so many others. And of course, all around my hometown of Chicago. Out of them all, Graceland Cemetery holds my heart. It's serene, hauntingly beautiful, and alive with stories if you stand still long enough to listen.
If you know of a grave I should visit, feel free to reach out by email.
I promise—I don't bite.
House of Xtravaganza. Always.
