I have always been fascinated by the history of just about anything; antiques, houses, people. That has led me to cemeteries more than once. I also enjoy seeing unique grave monuments in cemeteries, especially those built in the Victorian era. I don't know when I first realized that I liked to go through graveyards as a recreation but I think it has something to do with the fact that I lived right next door to the Millington Cemetery in Illinois at my grandma's house. We always used the grounds as a kind of a quiet park. And since then I have bought a digital camera I have been able to make many photo contributions to this site. If you have relatives' or friends' graves and they are close to where I live, I would be glad to photograph them if you can't. I can also clean a grave of a loved one if you message me.
