I met a cousin of mine, (that I didn't know existed), when I was around 40 years old. He told me he knew where my grandfather was buried! I asked him how he knew this, when I didn't even know that, and he replied, "Your grandfather and my grandfather were brothers". This cousin lived within 3 miles of me, ALL OUR LIVES. He actually went to school with one of my sisters, yet, we had never met him.
After I found this information, I decided to embark on a journey to find out as much about the relatives I have that I never knew existed, and the ones I'll never have the chance to know, because they were gone long before I arrived. Now, I'm always looking back! I am working to make it easier for the next relative, or reasearcher to find them.
