I'm a sixth generation Oregonian with maternal family surnames of Borland, Bagby, Cody, Ackerson, Thomas, Jones, Spores, Farmer, Athey, Sprague, Alford, McCauley, Walker, Lewton, and Cassaday. My mom was raised in Dallas, Oregon. Our pioneer ancestors settled in Scotts Mill, Molalla, Oregon City, [Lake] Oswego, Tualatin, Eugene, Stafford, Astoria, Silverton, and many other towns in Clackamas County, as well as Springfield, Eugene and Mohawk.
My paternal line is mostly in Tennessee, primarily in Linden and other parts of Perry County. Surnames include Duncan, Jones, Kimble, Oliphant, Evans, Tucker, Daniel, Crockett, and O'Guin. If you're from Perry County or have family from there, we're probably related!
