I have been involved in Genealogy for 38 years and my idea of a great vacation (after a cruise) is to hunt for graves in cemeteries. I have 5 children and they have come to expect that when we are traveling and see an unusual cemetery that we will stop and look. I like to be involved with cleaning cemeteries and helping to fix them up and then recording the gravestones that are in them. I do like to quote sources and think that a major part of genealogy is to insure that the information is correct.

My wife likes to accompany me into these cemeteries and becomes as excited as I when we make a find.

If you send me corrections or updates on memorial's please bear with me. I travel a lot and make the updates when I can. If they are my family, I do verify information with my records before I update as many people confuse names and ask me to update the wrong person. Many names were entered before we had the ability to link families together so some of them have not been updated.
