I am not a photo volunteer here but I do watch the requests. If it is close and a quick walk through I will usually stop and give it a shot. I will even do this on some of my travels. So if you suddenly see a pic on one of your entries; I just happened to walk by it for a request. I think this is the best way I can return the favor for those who volunteered for me. If your family member happens to be near one of mine I may add their memorial too and I have no problem transferring the memorial to family members.

I also do some search angel work and it leads me to make and confirm connections. So sometimes I may add strange connections or do a lot of verifying. A lot of these strange connections are verified with DNA and historical documents.

About family links - I've been here for a pretty long time and when I first added a lot of my memorials family links were not a possibility. So a lot of mine may not have them and slowly over time they have been and will be added.

Another thing I have found myself doing recently is researching. If there is an odd small cemetery I try to make connections. Was this a small historical community buried together or family? There is so much local history in the small cemeteries. The ones I find are usually close and it could be a name or the headstone, something usually makes me wonder about the person. Now there there are family links I can link that person to their people and share the rewards of my time with that family or community.
