My name is Ronnie L. Averette. I'm a husband of 42 years and a father of four sons, and a grandfather of 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
I'm a minister of 40 years and I'm also the Senior Pastor (Retired) and church caretaker of Mount Zion Gospel church located in Marion, Alabama.
(Mt. Zion is located in the North Perry Community area, about eight miles north of Marion, Alabama on county road highway 29 and was formally known as Mount Zion Methodist Church from 1822-1966, it was closed from 1966 to 1984 when I was allowed to reopen the church, it was then renamed Mount Zion Gospel Church at this time. It remained under this name from 1984-1995. It was renamed Mount Zion Non-Denominational Church from 1995-2011. The church was renamed for the last time back to it's second naming as Mount Zion Gospel Church and has remained with this name from 2011 to the present. The church has also been closed from 2011 till the present.)
I'm also a former long haul truck driver of 27 years and a former local propane truck driver of 8.5 years. (Retired)
I'm the founder of Crusaders for the Cross Ministries, and I'm the owner of Ron's PC Repair located at 503 Arrowhead Rd. in Selma, Al.
(My computer business is located about 9 miles east of Selma in the Burnsville Community Area)
I'm the author of three books (Echoes of Memory, Musings and Musings II) published by Authorhouse Publishing in Bloomington, IN and I'm currently working on several other manuscripts at this time.
