My family went to Vermilion County, IL and the surrounding areas - Champaign Co, Iroquois Co, IL and Warren, Vermillion, Fountain, Montgomery, Parke counties, IN. I have at least 5 generations on each side of my family in this general area as they were all early settlers.

I also descend from the Poages who were at Staunton, VA in the 1730s, the Ferrises and Elwells who were early settlers in New England.
