Dr. Claire V. Brisson-Banks, AG. A Rhode Island native currently living in Missouri. A 2025 graduate of Grand Canyon University, Accredited in England and previously in Mountain States Regions, lecturer, Professor, Mentor, writer and avid blogger. Author of "The Social Media Guide for Ancestral Research: Using Web 2.0 Strategies.
Areas of expertise are Libraries, Technological Advances in Family History and Genealogy, US, UK, Canada, Brick Wall Solutions and Involving "Youth" in Family History and Genealogy and working with all levels of genealogical expertise. Past RI Family History Center Director and has researched and lectured onsite throughout the US, England, Scotland, and Australia.
A former British Research Consultant and Technology Specialist at the Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah. Created and maintained their Social Media presence and the Youth sections in the FSResearchWiki. Wrote multiple blogs for the FS Blog and served in leadership positions on a variety of committees as well as a consultant for both the British Reference and US Reference areas.
