My Great, Great Grandfather Traugott Leberecht/Lebrecht Bernhardt was born in 1848 in Zullichau, Posen, Germany (now Sulechow, Lubuskie, Poznan, Poland).
Traugott served for The Royal Prussian Army/The Imperial German Army in the Franco-Prussian war of 1870/1871 in which he was awarded a bronze cross. I have not been able to verify this information.
Traugott married Ernestine Emilie Schulz/Schultz (Annatina Schultz) on the 3rd October 1872 at Kuhn's House, Zullichau, Posen, Germany or Karge, Bomst, Posen, Germany (now Kargowa, Lubuskie).
Ernestine Emilie Schulz/Schultz (Annatina Schultz) was born 16th June 1846 in Obra Nowa, Lubuskie, Poland / Neu-Obra-Hauland, Posen, Germany.
They lived in the village of Jaromiersko (used to be called Süßloch/Sussloch). It is in the vicinity of Novy Jaromierz and Swietno (Schwenten).
They had a son, Carl Ernst Bernhardt born 2nd November 1872 in Zullichau, Posen, Germany (now Sulechow, Lubuskie, Poznan, Poland).
Traugott, Ernestine and baby Carl left Germany from Hamburg by passenger ship 'Fritz Reuter' on the 25th November 1874 arriving in Napier, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand on 18th March 1875. They then left Wellington, New Zealand on the 23rd of June 1875 via passenger ship 'Alhambra' and arrived in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 3rd July 1875.
They moved to the Horsham/Vectis East area and had another son Traugott Leberecht Bernhardt on the 13th July 1879. Sadly he passed away on the 22nd July 1879 and is said to be buried at Natimuk cemetery, Victoria. I have not been able to verify this information.
They had another son Parnell 'Paul' Bernhardt (my great grandfather) who was born on the 17th May 1881 in Vectis East, Victoria.
Traugott became a legalised Australian citizen on the 3rd February 1885.
They had another son Ernst August Bernhardt, born 1893.
Traugott died on the 24th March 1896 and Ernestine died on the 29th March 1914. They are buried together at Rosebery Cemetery, Victoria.
My great grandfather Parnell 'Paul' Bernhardt married Emma Jende on the 19th September 1906 in Beulah, Victoria.
Emma Jende was born on the 28th October 1884 in Horsham, Victoria.
They had 3 daughters and 2 sons.
Their first daughter Therese 'Tess' Annette Bernhardt was born 11th July 1907. She died 30th September 1993 and is buried in Boram Boram Cemetery, Victoria with her husband Thomas Reginald 'Rex' Libbis.
Son Traugott Paul Bernhardt born 6th December 1908. He died 12th February 1937 and is said to be buried at Ararat cemetery. I have not been able to verify this information.

Bianca and husband Wade Roberts and 3 kids Emma Jane born 12 August 2006, Cooper James born 12 January 2009 and Nate John born 6 March 2011. They all live in Townsville. I am 44 and live in Sydney. I was born in Shepparton, Victoria on the 5th of March 1981.
