I am a lifelong resident of Conshohocken, Pa. I am an avid student of history most notably the United States Civil War. I graduated in 1969 from the former Archbishop Kennedy High School in Conshohocken, where my interest in history was cultivated by Sr. Maria Davidica IHM in my junior year. In the past I have served as President of the Conshohocken Fire Co. No 2 and as Fire Marshal for the Borough of Conshohocken. I am the founder of the Civil War Roundtable of Montgomery County, Pa (now defunct) and Past President of the Historical Society of Montgomery County. I have placed a listing of Montgomery County WWI veterans who died in the service on the web site for the Historical Society of Montgomery County (HSMCPA.ORG under resources). I am currently (Spring 2024 ) working on a listing of Montgomery County WWII Army and Aircorp service men who died in the service. I like to make known the life stories of the everyday men and women of my hometown and the surrounding area, especially those who served in the armed forces.
