David, a native Floridian, currently resides in Dublin (Franklin County), Ohio and has worked as a corporate promoter and Director of Marketing Communications. Currently, he is an audiobook narrator for Audible.

Mr. Vargo is a graduate of Chaminade High School in Hollywood, Florida - Class of 1975, and holds a MFA from Florida State University - Class of 1983. He is also a professional production stage manager, playwright, author, actor, and director.

David was adopted at birth by Louise (Betty) and Joe Vargo of Miami, FL in 1957. His biological parents were Julia (Judy) Abata and Arthur Sturgeon both of New Britain, CT. He has been fortunate to connect with both sides of his biological family and sponsors many deceased family members here on Find A Grave. If you are related to the Sturgeons or the Abata or Davanzo families, he would very much like to hear from you. David is currently writing a novel focusing on the lives of his biological relatives and his adoptive family.
