I stumbled upon this site sometime in 2004 while doing family history research. I have entered quite a few family members, both on my ex-husband's side and my side of the family, and also lots of unrelated folks. I strive for accuracy and use credible sources, but mistakes can slip through. If you notice any, please send corrections and/or additions via the appropriate choices under the Edits tab.

My surnames are: RAUTIO, WOERNLEY, CLARK, DREHMER, PULKINEN, RAHN, and HERRNECKAR. They are all upstate/central NY, ranging from Utica to Buffalo down to the Pennsylvania line . I'm also very distantly related to (3rd and 4th cousins) many CLEVELANDs in Tioga Co., Pennsylvania; also distantly related to Israel Justice CLARK (1821-1905) who was a prominent LDS pioneer to Utah. Please contact me if those names look familiar.
RAUTIO and PULKINEN were originally from Finland in 1915. HERRNECKAR, RAHN, and WOERNLEY were Germans, and came to the Utica NY area in the 1850s to 1860s.
If you are related to SHORT (especially in Tioga County, NY), HOSMER, BURLINGAME, TENNANT, TRIPP, FOSTER, SLATER, HOSMER, BRIZZEE, BEACH, or MEEKER, mostly from upstate/western NY or north/central PA, please contact me.
