I saw a story on my local news about a tombstone that had been found, stolen and dumped. The stone was for a 3 year old child named Maggie A Lloyd. As a genealogist, I know how valuable tombstones can be and it made me sick that someone had stolen this one. So I decided to try to find where it belonged. Turns out, Find a Grave had a record of the Paradise Lake Cemetery where Maggie is buried. A number of other local Find a Grave contributors also contact the Sheriff's department with this information and the stone was returned to its proper place.
