Finally found the connections, very interesting doing these researches. And that his I think I have this right...GG Grandfather Samuel Vanover, after many different spellings I found through all this going back to Holland, founded Eagle Creek church. Knew he always said families church but never explained..... Mainly interested in connection of Ema Perry Vanover dod 1961 buried at Eagle Creek and Higginbothams.........children Luster Vanover , Ed Vanover etc.....my daddy Luster Vanover and Lezett Vanover his wife { they adopted me when they were 50 and 60]

My daddy always said he had a Grandma Higginbotham, but never went into any details when i was a child, he thought i was to little to remember things and was going to tell me later.......but never did as time went on. I guess the reason he brought it up was we had neighbors who were Higginbothams, whom I married,lol.

Any way trying to connect them to my daddies but keep hitting roadblocks..........So......

So through memories of hearing names of family members called when I was little related to my daddy I was able to find the missing pieces of this puzzle!!!!!

I was born in 1965 to Mary Louise Alsip Skidmore and James Ira Skidmore, who says he left Kentucky because of my being born, his father was Louises Husband,tho they were almost same age, lol!!! ....Louise was alone and in doing so gave me up to have a home, instead of keeping me and putting me through whatever evil may have came or maybe having no home or family........til we are placed in others shoes,we do not know what we will do ,we can speculate but til that time we can;t 100% say....instead of dropping me here or there she gave me a chance to have a home........
