Born on the West Coast, my wife and I find we have a trail of ancestors stretching back to the East Coast. Our ancestors lived the westward expansion and settlement of the U.S.A. We revisit that path from time to time, back to Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina.
