I do a bit of reading, genealogy, other stuff, so I keep busy.
I was born in San Fernando, CA (near Los Angeles) and moved to Bakersfield in 1949. I have lived here ever since with the exception of 4 years in the Air Force and a few in Arizona, Southern California and Las Vegas.
I am the father of 7 children and I have one step child. All are now married or moved out, at least. I have 19 grandchilden including one, Jenny Kayes, who died.
