My love for cemeteries began during my visit to Texas in 2000. I absolutely loved the old monuments/headstones that we saw in the old cemeteries. I have since learned of the horrific destruction of old cemeteries that in my opinion should be preserved as historical monuments.
I have been researching my family history now for about 11 years. It is a passion. Photos of cemetery headstones has been one of the ways in which I have felt connected to my ancestors and family members. Although I am limited to assisting only with photos in my local area I would be honored to give back in the way so many have helped me.
