My main purpose is to document the last resting places of my and my wife's ancestors and also some of their close relations. My great desire is to add quality memorials (including full dates and locations, obit or bio, relationships, photos of person and grave marker, and marker inscription); not just quantity of memorials with little or no details.

I inherited a wealth of information about my family tree from my mother who was our family genealogist. The black & white photos of grave markers that I have posted on Findagrave were taken by her in the 1960's. In some cases, these photos document stones that are no longer readable.
