Despite what is occasionally claimed, records of any deceased person are lawful on Find A Grave and don't constitute a privacy violation by law. Burial information is not private, it is public information, and deceased people don't have legal privacy rights.

EVERYONE DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED

I became interested in cemeteries and graves when my Grandma passed away in 2004. My Dad found this website before me and got me into it. I love to just walk through the graves and read the stories people post about their loved ones passing. I find it as more of a history lesson and a biography.
