Son of Albert Earl Ford and Dorris Lavone Morris, both burried in White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, MO. Born Oct 17, 1948, second child. Sister, Donna Lea Ford Rola'. born May 13, 1944; died of cancer Nov. 8, 1989. Married Glenda Sue Shoemaker, June 26, 1970. Entered US Army by draft, Feb. 14, 1969; retired Lieutenant Colonel, Nov 11, 1997. 2 combat tours:
Viet Nam 1971 [COMSEC Logistics] Desert Storm, Turkey, 1991]. Also worked a civilian job at Ford Motor Comapny 1968 to 1999 last assignment as a purchasing coordinator, Truck Body
Shop, Kansas City Assembly Plant. After retirement from Ford, worked part-time for Northrop Grumman Technical Services training General Staffs on real-world scenario situations using Computer Based Simulations until 2015. Traveled all NATO countries and US installations. Three children: Stephanie Jean, 5-20-1976, John Michael, 11-5-1977 and Andrea Lynn, 11-9-1982.
