My family has been in Jefferson County Ohio for over 200 years. David Rogers is the first to appear in the 1802 tax roles. The Cable part of my family was in Jefferson County in the 1780's. While I now live in the Augusta Georgia area, I still have a lot of family in Ohio. I am deeply enjoying the quest for additional knowledge on my family history. Families I am related to include, Rodgers, Rogers, Cable, Carnahan, Myers, Brisben, McCarrell, Gray, McCoy, Richmond, Dinsmore, Kirk, Porter and Furbay. I am a member of the Ohio First Families Society as well as the Son's of the American Revolution.
