I was born 2 Jul 1950 at home in Monroe County, TN near the Blount County, TN line (Punkin' Center). I 1st married Rosaly E. Edwards born 25 Sep 1949 in Germany and died from Cancer 1 May 1984 at Blount Memorial Hospital (2 daughters) - father from GA and mother from Germany.
2nd married Patricia E. Trentham (1 daughter) - father from Sevier County, TN and mother from Madison County, AL.
My dad, John Clayton Carver, born 30 Oct 1901 in Monroe County, TN and killed, 29 Aug 1968 near our house in Blount County, TN while operating our farm tractor.
My Grandfather, Henry Washington Carver, born 17 Dec 1874 in Murray County, GA. My supposed great grandfather, Cornelius C. Carver had divorced my great grandmother, Mary Jane Thompson in 1871 in McMinn County, TN (my DNA indicated grandpa Henry was the illegitimate son of a LAMBERT from McMinn County, TN). I don't think he nor his later family knew his name should have been LAMBERT. Grandpa was known to drink allot. On 23 Sep 1933 he had been arrested by Deputy Joe Steele and taken to Esquire King where he submitted to a charge of drunkenness. They left the King place and were on Hwy 72 near Big Gully Road when my father & mother drove up. A scuffle started between grandpa, the arresting Deputy Joe Steele and my dad. The Deputy's gun accidently discharged killing grandpa. My dad got the gun and shot Deputy Steele twice. (My mother was there and saw what actually happened).
My paternal great grandparents by DNA match were Tennison M. & Catherine Palmer Lambert.
My grandmother, Sarah "Sallie" Elizabeth Caylor, was born 22 Jul 1878 in Monroe County, TN and died 24 Mar 24 1967 at our home in Blount County, TN.
My maternal great grandparents were George & Margaret C. Smith Caylor.
My mother Ellen Bernice Russell born 31 Dec 1912 in Oliver Springs, TN and died August 19, 2005 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN.
My grandfather was Solomon H. Russell born 25 Dec 1881 in Morgan County, TN. He and my 16 year old uncle Virgil were both shot on 19 Sep 1944 at the family Restaurant in Roane County, TN. Grandpa died instantly and Virgil died the next day.
My paternal great grandparents were Aaron B. and Minerva C. Braden Russell.
My grandmother Nancy Qumille Lively born 7 Apr 1887 in Oliver Springs, TN and died 4 Jan 1978 at my Mother's home in Blount County, TN.
My maternal great grandparents were James L. & Ellender J. Shoopman Lively.
