I started my obsession, for lack of a better word, with grave research after I did a project on a local cemetery for the County Historical Society. That interest led to researching my mother's family, the Robertses. After that was finished, I started researching my father's family, the Shaffers. In the process, I uncovered some long-buried secrets, including what some in the family believe is a "suspicious" death. I also connected with some distant cousins and found out where my ancestors REALLY came from! Most recently, I have been doing research on my grandmother's Heath lineage. One thing I have learned during my research is this: even if you think you know everything about your heritage, you really don't. And you may be shocked by some of the information you find.
