Because of my Grandma Mabel Shelburne, who recently passed at age 97, I started doing genealogy. I have a deep respect for those who came before me. Eventually, I would like to have a book for my children and grandchildren (even on down) to treasure. My daughter is taking a great interest as well as my mother. This site is a generational gift.
