I started getting interested in the family history when 3 years ago my 5th grader came home and needed to know history on the family and I didn't know a thing. It's not only become a hobby but it's become a fascination, I have met so many relatives that I didn't know I had and above all my sister and I work on the tree together so we also have become closer.

My sister and I for the past 3 years have packed up all the children and went on a week to two week vacation going to different states grave siting. Seeing the tombstones in person and being able to touch them seems to make us feel more in touch with our ancestors. I have to say on our trips we have had some interesting indures.
