I am here for the same reason as 90% of us, history and genealogy.

My primary goal is to get as many families connected as I possibly can. When you spend so much time searching, researching and trying to connect the dots in families that you only know through records, you come to feel like they are your family too and come to respect their lives, loves and losses. I hate to see single Memorials.

I do my best to be as accurate as possible and try to go back and double check myself. There will be errors, no doubt, but please let me know and I will try to correct them. That being said, I will not nitpick over capitalization or not; the use of periods or not (I personally do not use them) or discrepancies that do not enhance or correct information. Not everyone enters information the same way, as long as the information is as accurate as possible. Please do not send "Corrections" for this.

I know this is FIND a grave, as so many of you will point out and so do not appreciate when a "burial unknown" Memorial is created, and I try to abide by this, but I have lost a few very dear friends over the years and I have created a memorial for some just so I have a place to go and reflect on our friendship past. If FAG was adament about this rule they would not have created alternate options. I also feel badly when I find a veteran with no Memorial. We know they are out there, regardless if there is a visible stone or not and they do deserve to be remembered. I am more appreciative of the sacrifices made by these veterans as I grow older. I am also a veteran (Vietnam era) though I saw no combat.

I enjoy this site and hope others feel enjoyment also, but not just for the numbers, it's not a competition. We will all end up here one day.
