Remember to be accurate about your genealogy and respect the person who is ensuring you are Correct. Also, ask if you are allowed to copy photos.

Everyone who loves genealogy enjoys the hunt for their people, and giving away everything doesn't make enjoyable. I learned this from one of my students who was upset when someone else shared with her the facts she desired to find. Not everyone was can find all the graves; some are destroyed by storms, floods, and also being poor and being plotted over by other families who had done this in the Midwest, which is sad. I try to let my students find the research in some cases because you can take the joy of the research from a person. I love it when their eyes light up when they discover the person they've been looking so hard for. Don't disappoint the newbies in their genealogy hunt. Please don't email me for transfers or requests.
