My family has lived in the Southern part of Vigo County, IN since 1817 after purchasing land from the US Territory. I have been searching my families for over 20 years. I enjoy research, helping others and exploring cemeteries. In 2008, my sister and I took inventory of the BROWN CEMETERY, Vigo Co, INDIANA. We work together with the owners to care, improve and preserve this small, serene place that many have been laid to rest. If anyone has information or questions, please contact me.

The Union Church is the lawful owner and caretaker of the OLD BROWN/ARMSTRONG/UNION BAPTIST Cemetery located in Pierson Township.
