Some of my memorials are based on personal research into my family history. The majority, however, are based on information provided by others, taken from grave markers or from obituaries I've found. I cannot guarantee the accuracy of information from these sources, but believe most of it is correct.

I have photographed grave markers at several local cemeteries. Some of them have no death date. I research the person and, initially to protect their privacy, deleted the grave marker or their identity on double markers if I cannot locate a death date. The exception was when the birth date is 100 years or more in the past. However, I have discontinued that practice after realizing that others rely on the information on grave markers for both the deceased and the living.

I am not perfect and make my share of mistakes. I may inadvertently add a duplicate memorial. If you find a duplicate OR ANY error in information, photo placement, or family link, PLEASE let me know. I strive for accuracy which is so important to those of us tracing our family history.

Most of the memorials I've added are for those not related to me. If you would like a transfer of someone not related to me, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be glad to transfer your relative or acquaintance to you. Each transfer is a success in this fascinating process.

Names in my family tree include: CHAMBERS, PRUITT (many spellings), HICKS, ELDER, DUNCAN, KUYKENDALL (several spellings), FORD, SHIELDS, STOCKTON, EMERT and many other ancestors and descendants of these names.

Rude, bossy and mean-spirited messages of any kind will be ignored. I don't have time to become involved in someone's drama.
