I wanted to know more about my heritage and had very little information to go on. Sadly, both my mother and father died early in my life, back in the 1980s, so I did not have them to turn to as a resource. With the loss of my parents, my communication with many relatives slowly diminished, too. Without family to turn to, I used the the Internet as my main resource and "Find A Grave" website has been a fantastic gem for me.!!

I have a public tree on Ancestry.com named "Daniel M LYONS Family of California". George LYONS and Bernarda de VILLAR are my GG Grandparents. They were pioneers of early California in San Diego. Hope to hear from any other persons connected with my LYONS and VILLAR family, any associated relatives and friends. I'm still in the thick of my searching but hopefully, I can help others discover bits of info on their family's history, too. Goodluck to us all and don't give up on searching and sharing.
