I can remember my grandparents all using a preface for certain statements they would make. As a child I thought it odd because I never had the same thought. My mother used the same three words from time to time. Not many people of my generation use the three little words, I'm 65 and those words come to my mind often in just a brief fleeting instant as I answer a question someone asks me from time to time.

My fathers youngest brother should have used them at our house one thursday night. After supper he asked my mother how her father was doing. She said he's doing good, we're going to visit him sunday why don't you come with us? We're leaving at twelve. He answered " I'll be here at eleven".

Instead of visiting grandpa that sunday afternoon we had his funeral. My uncle didn't go. His funeral was on monday.
