I was born in Atlanta, but have lived in Tennessee pretty much my entire life. Being originally from Atlanta, that's where most of my research takes me. My grandmother was a Parker and I have primarily concentrated on her side of my Father's family since there has already been quite a bit of documented research on the Vansant side thanks to Sarah Carter.

My Parker's originated in South Carolina and are first found in the 1850 census in Cobb County, and by 1860 moved to Paulding County where some descendents still live today.

I wish I could spend all my time doing research as it's alway a puzzle that's waiting to be solved.
