I have been interested in genealogy since I was 13 years old when my aunt gave me a list of names of our family members going back to the Mayflower. In 1988, I proved that list with the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. Over the years, I have proven 14 more lines with the Society through 14 different Mayflower passengers. I am also a member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution through my 4th great-grandfather, Solomon Kittredge, Sr. I have visited cemeteries in Michigan, West Virginia, Virginia, Maine, South Dakota, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Illinois in search of my ancestors. It has been a journey I have loved.
