I am an avid genealogical researcher. My principal (but by no means only) areas of interest are in central Indiana (Boone, Montgomery, Hendricks) and Kentucky. Most of my deceased relatives are buried in Boone and Montgomery county cemeteries. The surnames I concentrate on include Threlkeld, Hiland, Cogle, Garner, Martin, McIntire, Northcutt, Dinsmore, Kernodle and Graham.
For Find A Grave memorials (a great genealogical research aid!), my focus is primarily on adding relatives or adding information for relatives contributed by others. I do not have any interest in accumulating numbers of non-relatives except when it may be helpful to others. If you are more closely related and a careful researcher, I will transfer the memorial for either my relative or a non-relative, guided by what I regard as fairness and good sense, not by the "guidelines."
My wife shares my passion for family history (and visiting cemeteries, thankfully!). We reside in Oregon.
