My name is Betty May Bohler Newby. I was born on January 20, 1942 to Ralph Oliver and Geneva E. Crise Bohler. I am the middle of three daughters. I grew up at Woodburn, Allen County, Indiana and met my husband Luther Wayne Newby in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We were married June 11, 1962. Our son, Wayne Daniel was born Aug. 27, 1963 and our daughter, Pamela May was born Sept. 19, 1964. In January 1977 we moved to Knoxville, Tennessee and have been here ever since.
I was given the job of the geneology research when my mother passed away in 2000 and now I find it interesting. My husband has started researching his family now too. We enjoy working in it together.
My children are grown and I have three grand-daughters and one grandson. Now I have my first great grandson. My husband and I are both retired and we do enjoy not having to push to go to work. Life is good.
