My name is Rhonda Massey and I live in Rossville, Ga. Together with my little brothers, Michael Lane and Joseph D. I would like to take this opportunity to share our daddy and our grandparents with you. Joey and I lost our brother Michael in 1997 to suicide, a sad tragedy that our daddy never got over. I have two children, Chace and Jada. They are the loves of my life. Chace is twenty this year and looks just like my daddy did when he was his age. Handsome! Jada is seventeen and going on twenty five. Jada has cerebral palsy and drives an electric wheelchair. She was the apple of her pappaw Tommy's eye. He loved to play cards with her and would even sometimes have to cheat to win.
He would let her be his secretary and his nurse, she could make daddy smile even when he felt his worst. My stepmom Sherri told me about this site after daddy passed and I am so proud of the flowers and messages that are left for him. It is such a comfort. Daddy was only sixteen years old when I was born and I feel so lucky to have had him not only for a father but as my best friend. When his mom passed he was so lonely and I prayed so hard for him to find someone to love who would truly love him just for himself. In time, I am proud to say that GOD answered my prayer. He sent us Sherri. With all of my heart I am sincerely greatful for the happiness she brought into my daddy's life. Though nothing is perfect, our love for each other is forever strong. I am proud of our family and I am thankful for this opportunity
