I am a native Memphian, a cradle Catholic, educated by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, the Brothers of Christian Schools, and the Jesuits in St. Louis. I've been fortunate to travel extensively in the United States, including the American Midwest, Deep South and Southeast, as well as throughout much of Europe and southwest Asia. I am a student of architecture, history, photography, biology, mammalogy, ornithology, botany, ecology, and geography. My interest in cemeteries and memorial architecture has become a focus of all of these disciplines. I make use of GPS, compass, laser ranging, and digital photography.
