I live in the very corner of South-East Hancock County, Ohio and am willing to visit cemeteries in Eagle, Delaware, Amanda, Jackson and Madison townships. Ok, sometimes I will wander over to Van Buren and Orange townships too. I am very concerned with the preservation of our headstones and will not clean, scrub or chalk a stone. I do my best to use only lighting to reveal a stones text.
I am currently doing my own family research for Courtrights(Kortright), Doerners, Haas', Koenigs, Moores, Nichols', Thorntons and VanSickles. The majority of these families came to Huron County, Delaware County and Wood County Ohio.
I am also the chapter president of the John Hancock Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution in Findlay, as well as serving as the color guard commander. If you are interested in the SAR, please don't hesitate to contact me.
