I became hooked on genealogy when I was 10. I transcribed tombstones in my hometown because I wanted to research who the founding families were and how their lives were.

I'm a Hood family researcher, something of a "clearinghouse" for Hood info because I've collected so much info on Hoods over the years, and I kept the info even though they turned out not to be my Hoods.

I hope to get involved in photographing tombstones in the near future so I can participate more in Find a Grave, but right now it's a bit difficult walking through cemeteries.
