Since 2008 his website has given me many hours of joy, I'm not ashamed to call myself "a graver".

There was an incident in 2021 that gave me pause. While living in England I was at a very old graveyard and stepped (fell) into a 200+ yr old plot, going nearly up to my thigh. Startled, I thought I went through some guys chest. I cautiously proceed now.

I've visited several graveyards and cemeteries in England & Scotland and am sad to report, very few old headstone are legible there.
