I am married to my childhood sweetheart Lynn Hammond. We have a son named Christian. I have 4 furry kids. 4 cats they all have different personalities Zeera,Jackson, Beau & Bonnie. I am a member of the United Daughters of The Confederacy. I love doing genealogy.
I am a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, we dress in the Victorian time 1800's. We meet once a month and we strive to preserve the memory of the soldiers of the War Between the States (Civil War). We do grave marker ceremonies (mark the grave w/tomb stones) ,and we tell about the dresses of the Victorian age. We give medals to current and past soldiers.
We have different events district meetings but I love what I do and to teach people all about this time era.
I also am the President & chapter registrar when someone wants to come into the chapter I trace your family back to an ancestor that was in the Confederate side of the war. I have track down census,birth certificates, death certificates,marriage license for every generation.
