My family is linked to the Payne/Cornelius/Roweton/Manes/Skinner/Vest and Jenkins ancestors. I am now in the middle of doing our family genealogy and have lots of information but need more. My husband and I have been photo volunteers for a few months and we love it. We usually take pictures of any other likely family members, other than the one requested and send the extra pictures to the requestor, or if they are not wanted we do the memorial page our selves.
Most of the cemeteries are well taken care of but sometimes we run across a few that have been forgotten. It's a shame but it happens. These are usually old rural cemeteries or family plots that have been sold off or the family has long since died out. It is sad to see that the final resting place of our loved ones are so neglected.
Since both my husband and I are retired we are usually out searching two or three times a week. It's fun and gets us out into the sunshine, rain or even snow. If we can be of service to you for anything in this area please email us. If there are mistakes we make on any memorial please let us know also.
