My name is Keith Holt and I have been doing family research since about 1999 when I realized that I knew nothing about my ancestors. Now I do!
I think FindAGrave is an excellent resource. To me it is sort of like FaceBook for our ancestors. It is a great place to share old photos and to keep track of exactly where our ancestors are located.
My personal FindAGrave success story.... I started looking for my GG-Grandfather's grave in 1999. At that time you had to write to cemeteries and wait for a reply. I never had any luck until about 2 years ago. I got on FindAGrave and did a quick search. Bam! I found him! I have been a big fan ever since.
