We have found a wealth of information on many of our ancestors through the memorial pages, and the headstone photos that many wonderful volunteers have taken for us. We were excited to see our numerous headstone photo requests answered by volunteers throughout the United States, and I decided to become a photo volunteer in our area, too. In addition to taking the photos requested by others, I also enjoy volunteering my time to take additional photos of nearby headstones.

Although there may be a rare occasion when we forget to thank a photo volunteer for taking a picture, or another member for transferring a memorial page, it is not intentional. We greatly appreciate everyone's kindness, and the time and effort that go into driving to the cemetery, locating the headstones, and taking the photos. Thank you very much!


Dupes & Memorial Transfers:

We always take additional photos when we are at a cemetery, adding them to existing memorial pages, or we will create a new memorial page when one does not exist. Although we search the website thoroughly before creating a new memorial page, to prevent dupes, we are human and accidents may occasionally happen! However, we do not intentionally dupe memorial pages, so please show the same consideration and do not dupe any that have been created by others or us.

And, we are happy to transfer memorial pages, as long as the individual is not directly related to my family, or my spouse's family.
