My wife Sandy and I have been actively involved in hunting for our ancestors for over 50 years. It is a good thing we started young. We have searched archives, libraries, and cemeteries across the country. We have travelled abroad to England, Norway and Germany to continue our search. We have published four books on our Strother, Garberg and other family lines

When not working on genealogy, I enjoy hiking in the Arizona desert. It is more beautiful than I can describe and great exercise. I play golf (high handicap), another activity to get me outside. I love good food and wine, old movies and my bourbon. Retired life is good!
