I live in Northwest Iowa and love researching family history. I welcome corrections/additions to memorials that I have posted. And thank you to those willing to transfer memorials to me, even if website rules don't require it.
FAG provides us with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a person's life. Recording and then sharing memorials means these individuals will never be forgotten.
My intent is to honor the life of each individual and to link them with family members whenever possible. I will be happy to honor transfer requests unless I am closely related to them.
As a person who is searching for ancestors, I am very much in favor of adding as much info to memorials as possible, while at the same time I don't want to be insensitive to living family members. I believe that when the family submits information into a public forum like a newspaper or funeral home website, they want that information to be public. They want a record of their loved one's life.
