Born & raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, I have not lived there since 1986. In the interim, many places have been home -- Knoxville, TN; Binghamton, NY; Pittsburgh, PA; Washington, DC; and currently, Greenbelt, MD.

I am the Village Goofball. I love history, Eastern philosophy, language & linguistics, politics, drawing, writing, and laughing.

I've developed an interest in genealogy -- perhaps because I've been away from family so long. I'm primarily interested in the Carraro and Genter surnames, and their extended family.

I'm a dog lover. Daisy, a min pin, is pictured. My other canine is Otis, a rat terrier.
